Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 Tbsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- butter
- coconut - 1 c
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- powdered sugar - 1/2 c
- Hershey bar - 1 giant
- vanilla pudding mix not instant - 2 Tbsp
How to make prayer bars:
Second Layer:1/2 c. butter1 Tbsp. milk2 Tbsp. vanilla pudding mix (not instant)2 c. powdered sugar1 giant (8 oz.) Hershey bar For First Layer: Mix melted butter, cocoa and powdered sugar. Add remaining first layer ingredients. Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan and refrigerate.For Second Layer: Mix in saucepan the butter, milk and pudding mix. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Cool. Add powdered sugar. Mix until smooth and spread over first layer. Refrigerate or put in freezer for a few minutes. Melt over water in double boiler the Hershey chocolate bar. Spread over Second Layer in pan. Let sit at room temperature. Cut and then refrigerate.
