Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• eggs - 6 item
• vanilla - 2 Tbsp
• milk - 1 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• sticks butter - 2 item
• cake flour - 3 c
• mace - 1 tsp

How to make pound cake:

Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well. Sift together mace, salt and flour. Mix cream mixture together with milk and vanilla. Alternately add flour mixture to cream/milk mixture. Cook at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Do not open oven for entire time.
