Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 2 Tbsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- sticks butter - 2 item
- cake flour - 3 c
- mace - 1 tsp
How to make pound cake:
Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well. Sift together mace, salt and flour. Mix cream mixture together with milk and vanilla. Alternately add flour mixture to cream/milk mixture. Cook at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Do not open oven for entire time.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
