  • sugar - 3 c
  • eggs - 6 item
  • vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • almond extract - 1/2 tsp
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • plain flour - 3 c
  • Crisco - 1/2 c
  • sweet milk - 1 c

How to make pound cake:

Cream Crisco and margarine. Add sugar and cream thoroughly. Add eggs, one at a time, then add flour and sweet milk alternately, ending with flour. Add baking powder and extracts. Grease and flour both pans. Bake in cold oven at 325° for about 60 minutes.

Makes 1 Bundt pan and small loaf pan.
