- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- vanilla flavoring - 1 Tbsp
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- powdered sugar - 2 Tbsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- self-rising flour - 1/2 c
- plain flour - 3 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- lemon flavoring - 1 Tbsp
- butter flavoring - 1 Tbsp
- almond flavoring - 1 Tbsp
- large can evaporated milk - 1 item
How to make pound cake:
Sift the plain flour, self-rising flour and dash of salt. Mix all the ingredients together with a mixer. Mix well for about 10 to 15 minutes. The longer you beat it, the smoother the cake. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
