Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • baking powder - 1/4 tsp
  • plain flour - 3 c
  • eggs room temperature - 5 item

How to make pound cake:

Cream margarine and sugar; add oil. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Add flour and baking powder alternately with milk and vanilla. Beat well. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325° for 1 1/4 hours.
