Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3 c
• eggs - 5 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• self-rising flour - 1 c
• plain flour - 2 c
• Crisco - 7 Tbsp
• sticks butter - 2 item
• whole milk - 1 c

How to make pound cake:

Cream the butter, Crisco and sugar. Add eggs; mix one at a time. Add flour and milk. Mix well. Add vanilla. Put in greased tube pan. Start in a cold oven. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
