- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour
- butter - 1 lb
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- Mix in eggs, one at a time
How to make pound cake:
Cream together sugar and butter. Mix in eggs, one at a time. Mix in flour, alternating with the milk. Mix in baking powder and salt. When ingredients are well blended, add vanilla. Bake in 325° oven for 1 hour.Caramel Sauce for Pound Cake:1 c. light brown sugar3 level Tbsp. flour2 eggs, well beaten1 1/2 c. milk5 Tbsp. butter Mix sugar and flour. Add well beaten eggs and milk.
