Ingredients/Components

  • seasoned stuffing mix - 1 pkg
  • hot water - 1 stick
  • green onion with tops - 1/4 c
  • diced celery - 1/2 c
  • mayonnaise - 1/2 c
  • salt - 3/4 tsp
  • diced chicken or turkey
  • eggs - 2 item
  • milk
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • grated mild Cheddar cheese - 1 c

How to make poulet de normandy:

Mix stuffing and margarine melted in water and set aside. Combine onion, celery, mayonnaise and salt and mix well with bread mixture.

In greased 9 x 12-inch baking dish, put half of bread mixture, then spread chicken. Top with rest of bread mixture. Beat eggs in milk. Pour over the rest of casserole. Refrigerate overnight.

Take out 2 hours before serving and spread with mushroom soup. Bake uncovered at 325° for 40 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and bake 10 minutes longer.
