Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 1 oz
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • cottage cheese - 1 c
  • green onions, chopped - 6 item
  • sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded - 1/4 c

How to make potluck casserole:

Cook noodles in boiling salted water according to package directions. Rinse and drain. Brown meat in butter. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt and tomato sauce; simmer for 5 minutes. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, chopped onions and noodles. Alternate layers of noodle mixture and meat mixture. Top with cheese. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
