Potato stuffing
Ingredients/Components
- medium potatoes - 5 item
- salt - 1/2 Tbsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- toasted bread crumbs - 2 c
- dried sage - 1/2 tsp
- dried thyme - 1/2 tsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
How to make potato stuffing:
Cook potatoes with 1/2 tablespoon salt in boiling water. Drain and mash. Saute onion and celery in butter 5 minutes. Add the mashed potatoes, crumbs, salt, sage and thyme. Beat with wooden spoon. Beat in egg.Note: Grate or cut the toasted bread fine.
