Potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 2 c
- milk - 2 c
- salt
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- parsley - 1 item
- diced celery - 1 c
- sliced carrots - 1/2 c
- diced potatoes - 6 c
- slices bacon - 6 item
- shredded cheese - 1 item
How to make potato soup:
Cook potatoes and carrots until tender in small amount of water. Fry bacon until crisp and crumble. Save 2 tablespoons bacon fat and saute onion and celery. Combine onion, celery, salt, pepper and crumbled bacon. Add to potatoes. Add half and half and milk. Simmer 30 minutes.
