Potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 3 c
- salt
- flour - 1 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
- diced potatoes - 2 c
How to make potato soup:
Melt butter in 1-quart saucepan. Add onion and cook until tender. Add salt, pepper and flour; blend well. Add parsley, celery, potatoes and water. Mix thoroughly. Cover and place over high heat about 5 minutes. Reduce to low and cook 15 minutes until potatoes are tender. Add milk and heat thoroughly.
