  • milk - 2 c
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • water - 3 c
  • margarine - 4 Tbsp
  • large onion, chopped - 1 item
  • medium carrots, sliced - 3 item
  • slices Velveeta cheese - 7 item
  • large green pepper, chopped - 1/4 item
  • to 6 potatoes, sliced - 4 item
  • green beans, regular or French-cut may use frozen - 1 c

How to make potato soup:

Saute onion and green pepper gently in margarine. Add carrots, salt and water to cover (2 cups water). Simmer gently. Add potatoes and simmer gently. Add green beans, continue to simmer. When vegetables are tender, add milk and cheese, but under no ci
