Ingredients/Components
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- grated carrots - 2 c
- cream - 1 2
- chopped celery - 1 c
- chicken broth - 8 c
- chopped onions - 2 c
- mace - 1 tsp
- potatoes, peeled and sliced - 2 lb
How to make potato soup:
Melt butter and saute onions, celery and carrots until golden and soft. Add potatoes and broth and cook until potatoes are tender. Add mace and salt and pepper to taste. Add cream.Sauteed bacon or thinly sliced ham is a good addition.
