milk - 1 qt
salt
butter - 3 Tbsp
water
pepper - 1/4 tsp
small onion, diced - 1 item
raw potatoes, diced or sliced - 4 c

How to make potato soup:

Dice or slice the potatoes. Add remaining ingredients, except milk. Simmer to well done. Mash lightly. Add milk. Cook just to boiling.
