Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- chopped potatoes - 2 c
- chopped carrot - 1 item
- large chopped onion - 1 item
- stalk chopped celery - 1 item
How to make potato soup:
In a large pot, put 2 1/2 quarts of water. Add the carrot, onion and celery; bring to a boil. Simmer for 15 minutes. Add potatoes, salt and pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender. Add flour with a small amount of water to make a paste. Add a little of the hot liquid, mix and add to the soup to thicken it a little. Add the milk; bring back to a boil.
