Potato pancakes
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- eggs, separated - 2 item
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- medium raw potatoes, washed, pared and grated - 3 item
How to make potato pancakes:
Beat egg yolks. Stir in mixture of flour, baking powder, grated potatoes and salt. Mix well. Beat egg whites until rounded peaks are formed. Fold into potato mixture. Spoon about 2 tablespoons batter for each pancake into hot fat in a skillet. Brown on both sides. Serve with applesauce.
