Potato leek soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 3 c
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- bay leaf - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- stalk celery - 1 item
- chicken stock - 4 c
- potatoes, diced - 6 c
- medium carrots - 2 item
- medium leek or onion, sliced - 1 item
How to make potato leek soup:
In chicken stock, cook 2 cups potatoes, 2 whole carrots, celery, leek or onion and bay leaf. When cooked, remove bay leaf and carrots. In blender, puree the potatoes, celery and leeks with chicken stock. Return to pan. In a saucepan, melt butter.Recipe categories: Potato, Vegetables, Soups & stews.
