- sugar - 1 c
- shortening - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- flour - 3 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- mashed potatoes - 1 c
- milk - 2/3 c
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- mace - 1/4 tsp
How to make potato doughnuts:
Beat eggs, add sugar gradually, then melted shortening, potato and milk. Add remaining dry ingredients. Roll out 1/4 inch thick. Use donut cutter, drop into hot Criso or corn oil.Recipe categories: Breads, Lunch/snacks, Breakfast.
