  • milk
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 1 c
  • parsley flakes - 1 tsp
  • chopped onions - 1/4 c
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • diced celery - 1/2 c
  • American cheese, cubed
  • chicken bouillon cube - 1 item
  • diced carrots - 1/2 c
  • diced potatoes - 3 c

How to make potato cheese soup:

Cook in large saucepan the first 9 ingredients until tender. Mix flour and milk together. Add milk mixture to other ingredients. Cook until thick. Add cubed cheese and let melt. If desired, 3 cups cubed ham may be added. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
