Potato cheese soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/3 c
- chicken broth - 3 c
- dash of paprika - 1 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- diced potatoes - 4 c
How to make potato cheese soup:
In large saucepan, melt margarine. Add onion and celery and saute. Add potatoes and broth. Cover and let cook until potatoes are tender. In batches puree mixture in blender. Return to pan and add milk and seasonings, either add cheese to melt or serve as side dish.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Soups & stews, Main dish.
