Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 lb
- carton sour cream - 1 oz
- stick butter, melted - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1/2 tsp
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- sharp Cheddar cheese, grated - 2 c
How to make potato cheese casserole:
Mix potatoes, onion, soup, sour cream, butter, salt, pepper and 1 cup cheese together. Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch dish. Top with 1 cup Cheddar cheese. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.Can be made in 2 casserole dishes and one frozen for later use. Thaw 3 hours before baking.
