Potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- melted margarine - 3/4 c
- carton sour cream - 1 oz
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- corn flakes, crushed - 2 c
- can cream of chicken soup undiluted - 1 item
How to make potato casserole:
In a very large bowl, mix together the melted margarine, chopped onion, cream of chicken soup, sour cream and Cheddar cheese. Stir well. Gently stir in the thawed hash browns until thoroughly mixed. Spoon into a 2 to 2 1/2-quart baking dish (about 8 x 11-inch), well greased.Topping (optional): Crush corn flakes and mix with 1/4 cup melted margarine. Sprinkle over top of potato mixture. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes until brown and bubbly.
