Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 pt
- salt - 1 tsp
- margarine - 1/4 c
- margarine, melted - 1/2 c
- chopped green onions - 1/2 c
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- frozen hash brown potatoes - 2 lb
- cornflakes, crushed - 2 c
- can creamy onion soup - 1 item
- shredded sharp cheese - 2 c
How to make potato casserole:
Preheat oven to 350°. Thaw potatoes and combine with 1/2 cup margarine, salt, pepper, onions, soup, sour cream and cheese. Place in a greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch casserole.Combine cornflakes and remaining 1/4 cup margarine. Spread over potato mixture. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes. Serves 12.
