Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 pt
- butter - 1/2 c
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese
- crushed corn flakes
- chopped green onions - 1/3 c
- medium potatoes - 6 item
How to make potato casserole:
Boil potatoes until tender and cool, peel and grate. Heat 1/4 cup butter with soup; blend in sour cream, onions and cheese. Stir in potatoes. Place mixture in buttered 2 1/2-quart casserole. Mix corn flakes with 2 tablespoons melted butter and sprinkle over casserole. Bake 45 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Casseroles.
