Potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 8 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- corn flakes - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- stick melted butter - 3/4 item
- onions to taste - 1 item
- Ore-Ida hash browns, thawed - 1 pkg
- Cheez Whiz may use jalapeno - 8 oz
How to make potato casserole:
Put potatoes and onions in casserole dish. Then add the butter. Mix sour cream, Cheez Whiz and soup in a separate bowl. After the sour cream, soup and cheese have been mixed together, pour on top of potatoes. Mash corn flakes and put on top. Pour 3/4 cup butter over corn flakes and bake at 350° for about 1 1/2 hours.You may substitute chicken soup for mushroom. You may substitute grated Cheddar cheese for Cheez Whiz.
