  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • melted margarine - 1/2 c
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
  • black pepper - 1 tsp
  • frozen hash brown potatoes, partially frozen - 2 lb

How to make potato casserole:

Mix margarine with potatoes. In separate bowl mix sour cream, onion, soup, cheese, salt and pepper. Combine with potatoes and put in a 3-quart casserole dish. Drizzle with margarine. Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes.
