- cubed or shredded hash browns - 2 lb

- bag shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 (12
- plain corn flakes, crushed
How to make potato casserole:
Topping (Optional):2 c. plain corn flakes, crushed1/2 stick margarine, melted Combine topping ingredients together and set aside.Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, mix in soup, melted butter, diced onion, sour cream, cheese, salt and pepper. Mix. Add in hash browns. Mix well. Cook, uncovered, for 35 minutes in a 9 x 13 dish. Add topping and cook for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
