Potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 pt
- salt - 1 tsp
- melted margarine - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- chopped onions - 2 Tbsp
- cornflake crumbs - 2 c
- grated sharp cheese - 1 c
- hash browns, thawed - 2 lb
How to make potato casserole:
Topping:1/4 c. melted margarine2 c. cornflake crumbs Mix together all ingredients except potatoes. Stir in potatoes. Place in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.Topping: Mix together the melted margarine and cornflake crumbs (may substitute potato chips). Sprinkle on top of potatoes. Bake 1 hour at 325° to 350°. (May be made ahead and refrigerated.) Bake, uncovered. Serves 10 to 12.
