Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 pt
- salt - 1 tsp
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
- crushed corn flakes - 2 c
- frozen hash browns - 2 lb
- or 2 c - 10 oz
How to make potato casserole:
Defrost hash browns and combine in a large bowl with melted butter, salt and pepper. Add onion, soup, sour cream and cheese. Blend ingredients thoroughly. Pour into buttered 3-quart casserole dish. Mix 1/4 cup melted butter with corn flakes. Sprinkle crumbs over casserole. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Casseroles.
