Ingredients/Components

  • frozen hash browns - 2 lb
  • melted butter - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onions - 1/2 c
  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 2 c
  • crushed corn flakes
  • can chicken soup - 1 item

How to make potato casserole:

Thaw potatoes and combine in a large bowl with 1/2 cup melted butter. Add salt, pepper, onions, soup, sour cream and cheese. Blend thoroughly. Pour into large greased 9 x 13-inch casserole; top with buttered corn flakes. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
