  • flour - 1 item
  • egg - 1 item
  • leftover mashed potatoes - 1 item

How to make potato cakes:

Mix egg and potatoes together; use enough flour to bind mixture together. Melt a little fat in frypan, when hot put 3 to 4 large spoonfuls of mixture in pan. After a few minutes, turn. Press down slightly. Will slice and cook other side. Cook until both sides are golden brown. Serve hot, with steaks, mixed grills, eggs and bacon or with hamburgers.
