Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 tsp
- chicken broth - 1/2 c
- dry white wine - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- large onion, sliced - 1 item
- bacon drippings - 1 tsp
- lean pork chops about 1 inch thick - 4 item
How to make pork chops in white wine:
Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Sear slowly on both sides in hot bacon fat. Remove from skillet. Stirring constantly, blend flour into fat remaining in skillet. Add broth and wine. When very smooth, return chops to skillet. Spread onion over chops. Cover skillet; simmer about 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Pork chop, Pork.
