Pork chops and rice
Ingredients/Components
- pork chops - 4 item
- brown rice - 1 c
- can condensed consomme soup - 1 item
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
How to make pork chops and rice:
Spray Pam in an ovenproof frying pan. Heat pan until it is medium-hot. Brown pork chops on both sides and remove from pan. Melt margarine in pan. Brown rice over medium-low heat, stirring to prevent burning. When brown, take off heat. Return pork chops. Add soup and 1/2 can of water. Cover with lid and bake at 350° in oven for 45 minutes to an hour. When rice has absorbed the soup, it is done.Recipe categories: Pork chop, Pork, Rice.
