  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • oil - 1 item
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • can sliced mushrooms - 1 oz
  • raw rice - 1 c
  • pork chops - 6 item
  • can beef consomme - 1 3/4
  • flour and salt - 1 item

How to make pork chops and rice:

Flour and salt pork chops; brown in oil. Saute onion in butter. Add mushrooms. Place rice in casserole; top with onion and mushrooms. Place pork chops on top. Pour consomme and small amount of water over all. Cover tightly and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
