Pork chop casserole
Ingredients/Components
- trimmed pork chops, 3/4 inch thick - 6 item
- prepared mustard - 1 item
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- uncooked rice - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- milk - 1 c
How to make pork chop casserole:
Spread chops lightly with mustard on both sides. Combine flour, salt, and pepper and dust chops with this mixture. Brown chops on both sides in butter. Remove chops to baking dish. Add rice to drippings and heat just until it begins to turn golden. If there is an excess amount of fat in the pan, remove it. Add soup and milk to rice. Mix together and pour over chops in baking dish. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour, or until rice is tender. Add more liquid if needed.
