Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • tomato juice - 2 c
  • instant minced onion - 1 Tbsp
  • uncooked rice - 1/2 c

How to make porcupine balls:

Combine meat, rice, onion and salt. Mix well and form into balls. Place in a deep baking dish. Combine juice, sugar, Worcestershire sauce and salt to taste. Pour over meatballs. Cover dish. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Serve hot. Yields 5 to 6 servings.
