Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crust - 1 item
- milk - 3 c
- sugar - 1 c
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- egg yolks - 4 item
- poppy seed - 1/4 c
- cornstarch - 5 Tbsp
How to make poppy seed torte:
Mix all ingredients (except crust). Cook until thick. Pour over crust. Beat 4 egg whites, stiff. Add 8 teaspoons sugar, two at a time. Spread over filling. Bake until egg whites are brown.Recipe categories: Desserts, Beginner cook, Easy.
