Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- butter - 6 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 3/4 c
- almond extract - 1 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- poppy seed - 1/4 c
How to make poppy seed muffins:
Preheat oven to 375°. Mix dry ingredients, then cut in butter. Mix eggs, almond extract and buttermilk. Pour into flour mixture. Fold together just until mixed. Spoon into greased muffin tins and bake until done, 20 to 30 minutes. Makes 1 dozen.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
