Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1/4 c
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- cooking oil - 1 tsp
- dried oregano, crushed - 1 tsp
- chopped tomato - 1 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- shredded Mozzarella cheese - 2 c
- can sliced mushrooms - 1 oz
- chopped green peppers - 1 c
- large chopped onion - 1 item
How to make popover pizza:
Brown meat and drain. Add tomato paste, oregano, water and salt. Transfer this into a 13 x 9-inch dish. Top with onions, peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms and cheese. Beat together the remaining 4 ingredients until smooth. Pour over meat mixture. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
