Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- chopped onions - 1 c
- can tomato sauce - 15 oz
- ground beef
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- Tabasco sauce - 1/8 tsp
- chopped bell pepper - 1 c
- spaghetti sauce mix - 1 pkg
- sliced Mozzarella cheese - 8 oz
- all-purpose flour not self-rising - 1 c
How to make pop-up pizza:
Pop-Up Batter:1 c. milk1 Tbsp. oil2 eggs1 c. all-purpose flour (not self-rising)1/2 tsp. salt1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese Heat oven to 400°. In large skillet, brown ground beef. Drain fat. Stir in onions, bell pepper, garlic, oregano, salt, water, pepper sauce, tomato sauce and spaghetti sauce. Stir and simmer 10 minutes.Batter: In a small bowl, combine milk, oil and eggs; beat 1 minute at medium speed. Mix flour and salt together. Add to milk mixture and beat for 2 minutes at medium speed or until smooth.
Pour meat mixture into ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan. Top with cheese slices. Pour batter over cheese, covering completely. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes. Serve hot.
