Polynesian meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- salt
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- ginger - 1/4 tsp
- oleo - 2 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- ground chuck
- Pet milk - 1/2 c
- saltine cracker crumbs - 1/2 c
- Fry in small amount of oil, browning on all sides
- small bell pepper, cut into strips - 1 item
How to make polynesian meatballs:
Meat Balls: Combine all ingredients and form into small meat balls. Fry in small amount of oil, browning on all sides. Remove from oil and drain. These may also be browned in oven on a baking sheet.Sauce:1/2 c. each sugar, vinegar, pineapple juice and pineapple chunks1/4 tsp. ginger1 Tbsp. cornstarch2 Tbsp. soy sauce1 small bell pepper, cut into strips Combine sugar, ginger, vinegar, cornstarch, pineapple juice, and soy sauce. Bring to a boil. When begins to thicken, add pineapple chunks and bell pepper. Pour sauce over meatballs. Can be frozen for later use if needed.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Main dish, Ground beef.
