- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- warm water - 1 c
- pizza sauce - 1 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
- Mozzarella cheese - 4 oz
- Mix all ingredients for dough until smooth and add 2 cups flour
How to make pizza turnovers:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Mix all ingredients for dough until smooth and add 2 cups flour. Knead 5 minutes. Let rise 1 hour.Filling:1 1/2 lb. ground beef1 c. pizza sauce4 oz. Mozzarella cheese Roll dough to 18 x 12-inch rectangle. Cut into 6-inch squares. In center of each square place browned beef, 2 tablespoons pizza sauce and grated cheese.
