Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 c
  • vegetable oil - 1 pt
  • oregano - 1 Tbsp
  • sweet basil - 1 Tbsp
  • onions - 3 lb
  • small cans tomato paste - 8 item
  • hot peppers, chopped - 4 item
  • bushel tomatoes, cook and juice - 1/2 item
  • or 3 garlic buds, cut up fine - 2 item

How to make pizza sauce:

Cook garlic, peppers and onions in vegetable oil until soft, then add tomato paste, oregano, basil, sugar and salt. Simmer all together until it comes to a boil. Bottle and seal.
