Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla
- milk
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 3/4 item
- flour
- oil - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- shortening - 2/3 c
- Cool Whip
- club soda - 1 c
- instant pistachio pudding mix - 2 pkg
- Add vanilla and eggs
How to make pistachio cake:
Cream sugar and shortening, add oil. Add vanilla and eggs. Alternate milk, soda and all dry ingredients. Can add 3/4 cup of chopped nuts. Bake in either tube pan for 40 minutes at 350°, 8 x 12-inch pan for 40 minutes at 350° or three layer pans for 35 minutes at 350°.Pistachio Icing:1 box instant pistachio pudding1 c. milk3 1/2 c.
