Pistachio bread



  • eggs - 4 item
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • water - 1/8 c
  • oil - 1/4 c
  • chopped maraschino cherries - 3/4 c
  • box yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • box instant pistachio pudding - 1 item

How to make pistachio bread:

Combine all ingredients and mix with a spoon (no mixer). Grease 2 loaf pans and dust with a mixture of 1/2 cup of sugar and cinnamon to taste. Any leftover can be used to sprinkle on top of loaves. Bake for 45 minutes at 350°. When cool, wrap in foil and refrigerate overnight. This enhances the flavor. Freezes well.
