Pineapple snowball cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cold water - 4 Tbsp
- boiling water - 1 c
- large angel food cake - 1 item
- Dream Whip - 2 pkg
- juice of 1 lemon
- crushed pineapple, drained - 1 c
- plain gelatin 2 envelopes - 2 Tbsp
How to make pineapple snowball cake:
Dissolve plain gelatin in cold water. Add boiling water, pineapple, sugar, salt and lemon juice. Mix well; refrigerate until cool. When partly jelled, add Dream Whip. Mix well.Break angel food cake up in small pieces. Put a layer of cake pieces and a layer of mixture. Let stand overnight in refrigerator. Unmold and garnish with Cool Whip.
