Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- cold water - 1 c
- boiling water - 1 c
- cream
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- bananas, sliced - 2 item
- jello - 1 pkg
- grated cheese if desired - 1 item
- small can pineapple, tidbits or crushed, save juice for later - 1 item
- enough small marshmallows to cover - 1 item
- Add pineapple, bananas and marshmallows to jello
How to make pineapple salad:
Dissolve jello in water and chill until partially set. Add pineapple, bananas and marshmallows to jello. Let set until firm.Topping: pineapple juice and water to make 1 c.1/2 c. sugar2 Tbsp. cornstarch1 egg, beaten Cool Whip or 1/2 c. cream grated cheese (if desired) Combine sugar, cornstarch, egg and liquid. Cook until thick, cool. Fold in Cool Whip or cream. Spread over jello. Top with grated cheese if desired.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Salads, Tropical fruits.
