Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- oil - 1/2 c
- container Cool Whip - 1 (8
- yellow cake mix dry - 1 item
- vanilla instant pudding dry
- mandarin oranges including liquid
- crushed pineapple with juice Dole works best
How to make pineapple-orange cake:
Frosting:1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple with juice (Dole works best)1 small pkg. vanilla instant pudding (dry)1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip Mix cake ingredients with mixer 3 to 4 minutes. Cook according to cake mix directions for size you desire until tests done with toothpick. Cool thoroughly.Frosting: With mixer, combine pineapple and pudding thoroughly. On low speed, fold in Cool Whip. Refrigerate 1 hour before frosting cake.
