- melted butter - 2/3 c
- Ritz crackers - 70 item
- lemon jello - 1 pkg
- eggs yolks, well beaten - 6 item
- 2 can or 2 c
How to make pineapple dessert:
Filling:1 (No. 2) can or 2 c. crushed pineapple, drained1/2 c. sugar1 pkg. lemon jello6 eggs yolks, well beaten Crust: Crush crackers fine. Mix with melted butter. Reserve small amount and pat into a 9 x 13-inch pan to make a crust. Chill.Filling: Cook until thickened, although mixture will not get real thick. Add the lemon jello to hot mixture. Stir until jello is dissolved. Chill filling. While mixture is chilling, beat the 6 egg whites and add 1/2 cup sugar. Fold into chilled mixture. Serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
